Emirates launches its Premium Economy offer to India

It will be the first airline in the Middle East to offer a discreet luxury experience

Emirates celebrated the upcoming launch of its Premium Economy offering in India with an exclusive tour of its four-class A380 aircraft in Mumbai.

He explained that when the new class of cabin debut on its A380 flights later this month, Emirates will be the first Middle Eastern airline to serve Mumbai, offering a low-key luxury experience.

The aircraft, with Premium Economy cabins and operating as EK506, arrived at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (MIAL) to enable MIAL airport officials, VIPs, travel agents, key corporate customers to preview the offer that it will be launched.

Guests were given a guided tour of the Premium Economy cabins that will debut on the Emirates A380 service to Mumbai and Bengaluru from 29 October and on outbound flights from the two cities to Dubai from 30 October.

The launch event was attended by Prakash Tulsiani, Managing Director of Mumbai International Airport; Ashwin Noronha, Chief Operating Officer, Mumbai International Airport; Dinaz Madhukar, Director, Commercial Services, Adani Airports, among others.

The Emirates A380 Premium Economy cabins feature 56 luxurious leather seats, located forward on the main deck and arranged in a 2-4-2 configuration.

Travelers looking for a premium dining experience can explore a varied selection of regional menus, including local flavors and a wide selection of beverages for Premium Economy customers.

In addition, the ice entertainment system with over 6,500 channels has been significantly upgraded, with a larger screen and an extensive collection of movies, TV shows and albums in regional Indian languages, including Hindi, Marathi and Kannada. .
