Then in 1955, Enfield Cycle Company Limited was associated with Madras Motors in India to form ‘Enfield of India’based in Madras, little did they know that it would be their Indian partner and not the British factory that would continue to produce the motorcycles nearly 70 years later, since the British factory closed its doors in 1978.
Royal Enfield continues to build those bullets with a 1 cylinder air engine with rods and rocker arms, with the looks of a 1950 motorcycle and with the performance of that time (25 HP)… because they are basically the same motorcycles from that time and that is part of their great charm.
But five years ago, the Anglo-Indian brand launched two models with one new modern twin cylinder enginewith overhead camshaft, Continental GT and Interceptoralready giving up 47 resumes.
Now it’s your turn Shotgun 650a very interesting motorcycle, with a bobber aesthetic, made to be customizable.
A few days ago we saw the advancement of the Shotgun with a serial version limited to 25 units, hand painted and called Shotgun Motoverse.
The production Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 (rifle) has been officially presented in Los Angeles (USA), and is offered in four different finishes: blue, white/black, gray and green.
It comes as standard with a single seat, although there is a passenger seat among its many customization options, such as saddlebags, windshield, etc.
The idea is that it is a motorcycle that each person adapts to their taste.and perhaps that is why it has been presented in the ‘tuning’ mecca of California, home of the most famous tuners, such as Roland Sands or Deus Ex Machina, among others.
We are waiting for you in Europe in 2024. We will announce the date of the presentation as soon as you let us know.
